Runner beans with garlic

500g (1 lb) runner beans, cut into chunks, NOT sliced
60g (2 oz) butter
1 clove garlic
1 level tblsp chopped parsley

Cook fresh beans in boiling salted water for 10 minutes. Drain.

Heat butter in pan, add crushed garlic and parsley. Stir in beans and cook together gently for 3 minutes.

Serve hot.
