500g (1 lb) runner beans, cut into chunks, NOT sliced 60g (2 oz) butter 1 clove garlic 1 level tblsp chopped parsley |

Cook fresh beans in boiling salted water for 10 minutes. Drain.
Heat butter in pan, add crushed garlic and parsley. Stir in beans and cook together gently for 3 minutes.
Serve hot.
