60g butter 2 large onions 1 carrot 2 tomatoes 30g flour 300ml stock seasoning |

Slice onions and tomatoes, grate carrot.
Melt butter, add onions and fry until golden brown. Add flour and a little of the stock. Stir until the mixture thickens, then stir in the remaining stock, using a balloon whisk.
Add carrot and tomatoes, bring to the boil and simmer for about 15 minutes until vegetables are tender.
Season to taste and serve.
