Side Recipe:

6-8 Servings


500g (1 lb) cooking apples, peeled, cored and sliced
3 tblsp water
2 tblsp lemon juice
30g (1 oz) butter
2 level tblsp sugar
 
Meat-free
Gluten-free
Egg-free
Nut-free
Apple sauce for Pork

Put apples into a pan with the water and lemon juice. Cover and cook gently for 10 minutes, stirring occasionally until the apples are soft.

Beat well and stir in butter. Add sugar to taste. Serve hot or cold.
