3-4 large potatoes 2 cups dahi ½ tsp toasted cumin seeds salt and pepper 2 tblsp chopped coriander chilli powder to taste 2-3 medium tomatoes few sprigs coriander to garnish |

Boil potatoes in their skins until tender. Cool, peel and slice fairly thinly.
Beat dahi until smooth, add cumin seeds, salt, pepper, coriander and chilli.
Drop the tomatoes alternately into boiling and iced water to loosen their skins, peel and slice, discarding the seeds and core.
Mix with the potatoes carefully and add dahi mixture.
Chill and garnish with coriander sprigs to serve.
